Outside of internet sources, I have had a really hard time finding music by a Chicago band called Office who I have really been loving ever since I heard their track “Wound Up” from their album A Night at the Ritz. It has come to my attention that they just released a new album and the entire thing is available as a free download from last.fm. Also, about half of the tracks from A Night at the Ritz are available from last.fm as well. You should definitely check them out.
EDIT: Oh, and PS. They’re super gay-friendly too. Whether Scott is gay or not I guess I don’t know for sure, but I would think yes. He’s apparently already working on a new project with the queer community [and other freaks] in Detroit. If anyone might know how I could get a piece of this please let me know!
I saw Office live in Detroit awhile ago (touring with the now-defunct Freer) and they’re an awesome band. Definitely check out their stuff (and kudos to Brandon for pointing this out)
