Working Black Friday

There have definitely been busier black Fridays in the past few years but what strikes me as different (encouraging) is the number of people paying in cash/debit card; people by and large are buying things with the money they actually have, as opposed to credit (shouldn’t that be the way it’s supposed to go anyway, America?)

And I only had one truly rude customer all day. She was talking on her mobile the whole transaction… Unrelated, she was the only person I’ve had that had to go through half a dozen credit cards before she found the one to pay with.
