I hope Steve Jobs realizes he just created the ultimate toilet reading device.
The iPad does nothing that my laptop + iphone cannot do.
The only impressive part is the $30 unlimited data plan.
Other than that, I’m not impressed. Does not live up to the hype.
Can’t wait to see how MacBreak Weekly will glorify this, and how Paul Thurrott on Windows Weekly will rip it apart.

I just talked on the phone for 15 minutes about HDMI specifications (1.0 vs 1.3a/b/c), streaming of DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD loseless tracks, and whether or not the PS3 could decode those tracks.
I’m both scared and impressed by that fact.
